Do you have what it takes to make it in network marketing? 90%
of network marketers don’t. This is the reason why the failure
rate is so high.
The first thing you must know as a network marketer if you don’t
know it already is: People don’t join a business… They join YOU.
And in order for people to join you they must see you as a
leader.
Being a leader is a state of mind. Leaders think different of
themselves than followers do and followers think different of
themselves than leaders do. Leaders have a very strong self
confidence and self worth mentality. This state of mind cannot
be a fake belief or a pretend game. You cannot pretend to be a
true leader if you don’t have the right frame of mind for it.
You must believe that you are and be who you are.
Leaders have charisma; they have a certain posture and a voice
tone that translate their self confidence which attract others.
Leaders take initiatives when nobody else will and this is
usually the first trade of a leader. Followers never take
initiatives even when they are given a chance to do so. Even if
doing so might be the chance of a life time and could change
their lives. Leaders will make that chance happen if they have
to.
Leaders don’t have to beg people to join them in their business
because people want to join them. Rather, leaders choose who
they bring in their organization; they interview prospects
before they let them join, they don’t ask the prospect to please
join. Because leaders radiate self confidence, they are
attractive to others. Their personal confidence has risen to the
point that people would follow them anywhere.
Leaders do not sell to their prospects; they instruct them,
teach them, mentor them and build them. They do not wonder
about what will be the next step they have to take. They know
exactly where they are going and what they are doing. This
doesn’t mean that they have all the answers, because they don’t.
Followers sometimes think that they have all the needed
knowledge to be successful. True leaders, however, know that
they are always learning and don’t hesitate to ask for help to
resolve a situation, and as they do they are conscious of the
fact that they are teaching others that they don’t need to have
all the answers either to become successful leaders themselves.
Leaders become advisors and build strong relationships with
their prospects. They build a trust between them and their
prospects that will last forever. They never lose focus. Leaders
are a true value for their down line. They help them to become
leaders themselves. They don’t tell them what to do; they show
them how to do it. True leaders are not afraid of people in
their down line becoming leaders themselves, they welcome and
encourage them to be the leaders that they need to be to be
successful.
Are you a leader? If not, you must learn from them if you want
to have a chance in this business. None-leaders who are
successful in network marketing do not exist. You must develop
leadership skills as you go along in order to be successful in
this business.
